  5. UFS Options
  6. ===========
  7. ufstype=type_of_ufs
  8. UFS is a file system widely used in different operating systems.
  9. The problem are differences among implementations. Features of
  10. some implementations are undocumented, so its hard to recognize
  11. type of ufs automatically. That's why user must specify type of
  12. ufs manually by mount option ufstype. Possible values are:
  13. old
  14. old format of ufs
  15. default value, supported as read-only
  16. 44bsd
  17. used in FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD
  18. supported as read-write
  19. ufs2
  20. used in FreeBSD 5.x
  21. supported as read-write
  22. 5xbsd
  23. synonym for ufs2
  24. sun
  25. used in SunOS (Solaris)
  26. supported as read-write
  27. sunx86
  28. used in SunOS for Intel (Solarisx86)
  29. supported as read-write
  30. hp
  31. used in HP-UX
  32. supported as read-only
  33. nextstep
  34. used in NextStep
  35. supported as read-only
  36. nextstep-cd
