  1. =============
  2. btmrvl driver
  3. =============
  4. All commands are used via debugfs interface.
  5. Set/get driver configurations
  6. =============================
  7. Path: /debug/btmrvl/config/
  8. gpiogap=[n], hscfgcmd
  9. These commands are used to configure the host sleep parameters::
  10. bit 8:0 -- Gap
  11. bit 16:8 -- GPIO
  12. where GPIO is the pin number of GPIO used to wake up the host.
  13. It could be any valid GPIO pin# (e.g. 0-7) or 0xff (SDIO interface
  14. wakeup will be used instead).
  15. where Gap is the gap in milli seconds between wakeup signal and
  16. wakeup event, or 0xff for special host sleep setting.
  17. Usage::
  18. # Use SDIO interface to wake up the host and set GAP to 0x80:
  19. echo 0xff80 > /debug/btmrvl/config/gpiogap
  20. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hscfgcmd
  21. # Use GPIO pin #3 to wake up the host and set GAP to 0xff:
  22. echo 0x03ff > /debug/btmrvl/config/gpiogap
  23. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hscfgcmd
  24. psmode=[n], pscmd
  25. These commands are used to enable/disable auto sleep mode
  26. where the option is::
  27. 1 -- Enable auto sleep mode
  28. 0 -- Disable auto sleep mode
  29. Usage::
  30. # Enable auto sleep mode
  31. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/psmode
  32. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/pscmd
  33. # Disable auto sleep mode
  34. echo 0 > /debug/btmrvl/config/psmode
  35. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/pscmd
  36. hsmode=[n], hscmd
  37. These commands are used to enable host sleep or wake up firmware
  38. where the option is::
  39. 1 -- Enable host sleep
  40. 0 -- Wake up firmware
  41. Usage::
  42. # Enable host sleep
  43. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hsmode
  44. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hscmd
  45. # Wake up firmware
  46. echo 0 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hsmode
  47. echo 1 > /debug/btmrvl/config/hscmd
  48. Get driver status
  49. =================
  50. Path: /debug/btmrvl/status/
  51. Usage::
  52. cat /debug/btmrvl/status/<args>
  53. where the args are:
  54. curpsmode
  55. This command displays current auto sleep status.
  56. psstate
  57. This command display the power save state.
  58. hsstate
  59. This command display the host sleep state.
  60. txdnldrdy
  61. This command displays the value of Tx download ready flag.
  62. Issuing a raw hci command
  63. =========================
  64. Use hcitool to issue raw hci command, refer to hcitool manual
  65. Usage::
  66. Hcitool cmd <ogf> <ocf> [Parameters]
  67. Interface Control Command::
  68. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x01 0x00 --Enable All interface
  69. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x01 0x01 --Enable Wlan interface
  70. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x01 0x02 --Enable BT interface
  71. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x00 0x00 --Disable All interface
  72. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x00 0x01 --Disable Wlan interface
  73. hcitool cmd 0x3f 0x5b 0xf5 0x00 0x02 --Disable BT interface
