  3. ! ABOUT !
  4. =========
  5. <marketing blurb>
  6. Blackfin Processors embody a new breed of 16/32-bit embedded processor, ideally
  7. suited for products where a convergence of capabilities are necessary -
  8. multi-format audio, video, voice and image processing; multi-mode baseband and
  9. packet processing; control processing; and real-time security. The Blackfin's
  10. unique combination of software flexibility and scalability has gained it
  11. widespread adoption in convergent applications.

  20. In particular, bug reports, feature requests, help etc... for Das U-Boot are
  21. handled in the Das U-Boot sub project:
  22. http://blackfin.uclinux.org/gf/project/u-boot
  23. This website is backed both by an open source community as well as a dedicated
  24. team from Analog Devices Inc.
  25. =============
  26. ! TOOLCHAIN !
  27. =============
  28. To compile the Blackfin aspects, you'll need the GNU toolchain configured for
  29. the Blackfin processor. You can obtain such a cross-compiler here:
