  3. mount -t ufs -o ufstype=type_of_ufs device dir
  4. UFS OPTIONS
  5. ===========
  6. ufstype=type_of_ufs
  7. UFS is a file system widely used in different operating systems.
  8. The problem are differences among implementations. Features of
  9. some implementations are undocumented, so its hard to recognize
  10. type of ufs automatically. That's why user must specify type of
  11. ufs manually by mount option ufstype. Possible values are:
  12. old old format of ufs
  13. default value, supported as read-only
  14. 44bsd used in FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD
  15. supported as read-write
  16. ufs2 used in FreeBSD 5.x
  17. supported as read-write
  18. 5xbsd synonym for ufs2
  19. sun used in SunOS (Solaris)
  20. supported as read-write
  21. sunx86 used in SunOS for Intel (Solarisx86)
  22. supported as read-write
  23. hp used in HP-UX
  24. supported as read-only
  25. nextstep
  26. used in NextStep
  27. supported as read-only
  28. nextstep-cd
  29. used for NextStep CDROMs (block_size == 2048)
  30. supported as read-only
  31. openstep
  32. used in OpenStep
  33. supported as read-only
