  5. ---------------------------
  6. This directory contains a handful of working example programs that can be
  7. built with the ACK. They're intended as a convenient source of test code
  8. and as a starting point when writing your own programs.
  9. They consist of:
  10. hilo.c ANSI C version of the Hi/Lo game
  11. hilo.b Basic version of the Hi/Lo game
  12. hilo.mod Modula-2 version of the Hi/Lo game
  13. hilo.ocm Occam 1 version of the Hi/Lo game
  14. hilo.p Pascal version of the Hi/Lo game
  15. paranoia.c An ancient public domain K&R C adventure game
  16. startrek.c An even more ancient public domain ANSI C game
  17. startrek.doc Manual for above (plus in current directory when running)
  18. Enjoy.
  19. (startrek.c was written by David Ahl and converted to C by Chris Nystrom. See
  20. http://www.cactus.org/%7Enystrom/startrek.html for more info.)
